Review: The Club at Las Vegas Airport (Terminal 3)

    by TwoHeartsTraveling November 18, 2019
    written by TwoHeartsTraveling

The Club has two locations at the Las Vegas airport. We visited the lounge located in Terminal 3, which is a fantastic Priority Pass lounge and the better of the two at this airport. We were there in the morning and the breakfast was as good as something you would expect from a mid to high end hotel buffet.

The Club is a network of independent lounges which has thirteen (and growing) total lounges around the country – Atlanta, Boston, Buffalo, Baltimore, Charleston, Cincinnati, Dallas, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Orlando, Pittsburg, Seattle, and San Jose. There are also two international locations at London Gatwick and London Heathrow.

Location & Hours The Club at LAS

The Club has two locations at the LAS airport

    Terminal 1, Concourse D
    Open 5am-12:30am daily

Terminal 3 across from Gate E2
    Open 5am-11:59pm daily

    Access to The Club Lounges

Day passes can be purchased to any of The Club locations for ~$40. Otherwise access is for those with Priority Pass or Lounge Pass

    Check In

Check in went smoothly, there was only one other person ahead of us in line.

The entrance is fairly understated and probably the least impressive part of the lounge.

The lounge was laid out as a series of four connected rooms/separate areas. There was nothing special about the décor or style, and other than the wood plank walls, it felt very bland. With that being said though, the furniture and décor felt very new, so that was a plus.

The first room has the food and drink buffet, a long high-top dining table and the bar. The breakfast buffet was the highlight of the visit, but I’ll get to that later ????

The second room had tables as well as about a dozen lounge seats. This is where most of the passengers were there while we visited this lounge.

The third room was the smallest, but had various options for lounge chairs to choose from

The fourth and last room was the most quiet with no one in there when we arrived (probably because it was furthest away from the entrance and buffet). There were various lounge chair options, as well as some private like cubicle seats in the back and a small business center with a printer.

Food & Beverage The Club LAS

The food and drink was exceptional for a lounge, and some of the best that we’ve experienced from a standard domestic lounge (non-Centurion, non-Polaris, non-Flagship). What is even more impressive is that most lounges use breakfast as away to save money and serve nothing more than a few pastries or yogurt, but not at The Club at Las Vegas!

There were a variety of warm breakfast items including bacon, sausage, potatoes and eggs.

Next was oatmeal and some delicious toppings including brown sugar, cranberries, raisins and walnuts.

One of my favorite breakfast items was the yogurt with fruit and granola as well as the fresh fruit salad. I went back for seconds… And thirds…

At the end were some cinnamon rolls (delicious) and a banana cornflake breakfast pastry (interesting), as well as assorted breads and cereal.

To the right of the bar was a snack and refreshment station. The fruit infused water was very enjoyable and the assorted snacks were actually something that one might enjoy (definitely go for the Neapolitan mix!)

Just past the entrance were the lockers, restrooms and showers. I didn’t get a chance to take a look at the showers, but the restrooms were a little dated, but were at least clean.

    Overall Impression

Overall The Club at Las Vegas Airport is a fantastic Priority Pass lounge and one of the better domestic business class lounges. From what I hear, The Club at Terminal 3 is larger and has better food and drink than the location in Terminal 1. Keep in mind though there is a new Centurion Lounge at the LAS airport in Concourse D, so that may be the best overall choice if you have access and are either departing from Concourse D or have time to take the shuttle there.

When we visited this lounge neither Jess or I had the AMEX Platinum or Centurion card, so we didn’t have access to the Centurion Lounge. Now we do though. So next time we visit the LAS airport we will definitely have to try out the Centurion Lounge and hopefully go back to The Club to check out lunch and dinner.
