The Aruba Queen Beatrix (AUA) airport had one of the longest and most inefficient security lines that we have ever experienced. It took us over two hours to get through the security line and we almost missed our flight. Since we hadn’t reviewed this lounge before, we decided to risk it and stop by for about three minutes to grab some snacks and leave a quick review!

Location & Hours
Main Terminal by Gate 8
Open Daily 6:30 a.m.-8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Entrance
The agent that checked us in was very friendly, and we made her aware of our very limited time we had to spend at this lounge.
Lounge Layout
Along the way were several other seating areas.
The main room of the lounge has a bar with several bar stools to sit at, as well as many dinning tables and chairs for seating.
Food & Beverage Selection
The food was limited. We had turkey sandwiches that were pretty decent. Brandon burned his tongue on a bowl of chicken noodle soup that he said was delicious. He also grabbed a couple bags of chips for the road.
The beverage choices consisted of water, coffee, beer and wine.
The bartender was very friendly, and even poured our wine in a to-go cup since at this point we had about two minutes left in the lounge.
Overall Impression
Our experience was very limited at this lounge. There could be a bit more food and drink options, but overall the lounge was decent for a priority pass lounge at a small(ish) airport. It is quiet enough to relax and enjoy a pre-flight experience. The time we arrived, we were the only guests in the lounge, so that also made for a quiet experience.
